Their growth cycle is extremely fast, being able to regenerate quickly if damaged. They model the person I am trying to be. I want to be able to move with the wind and storms instead of breaking under pressure. I want to be so unphased by my external circumstances because my roots run deep. And like the willow, I want to be able to get back up quickly when I fall. I don't want to succumb to condemnation and shame, but run fast to the arms of grace.
