man and women become one

and thus, the church becomes one with the bridegroom

God builds these structures in the physical realm so that we are able to mirror this kind of unity in the Spirit.

This painting is an invitation to view your own earthly relationships. Are you projecting the disfunction you find in them onto your own relationship with Jesus ? OR are you living out the level of intimacy through them that Christ would like to have with you?

I pray that you desire deeper intimacy with Jesus and that he reveals the fullness of what that means.
